  • Help Content has moved. Help documentation for Marketing Cloud Personalization is now published in Salesforce Help. Starting February 1, 2023, the doc.evergage.com site will no longer be available.
  • New Name: Interaction Studio (formerly Evergage) is now known as Marketing Cloud Personalization. The new name reflects our mission and vision for innovation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. We wish we could snap our fingers to update the name everywhere, but you can expect to see the previous name in various places until we replace it.

User behavior filters add filtering logic based on customer interaction with the trigger items. You can add multiple user behavior filters and the user must meet all the criteria you set to qualify for the trigger.

User Behavior Filters

User behavior filters are based on user interactions with any item or with the trigger item. Your developer configures these item actions in your account.

  • Favorite—The user did or didn’t favorite the trigger item or any item at most, at least, or between the number of times you enter, during the number of days you configure. Because Interaction Studio doesn’t store a user’s favorite list as an object, the trigger only checks whether the user completed the favorite item action based on how you configure the filter.
  • Add to cart—The user did or didn’t add the trigger item or any item to their cart. Because Interaction Studio stores the user’s cart as an object, the filter checks for the trigger items that are in the user’s cart when the trigger occurs and again after any delays you set for the campaign. The trigger doesn’t activate if the user removes the item from their cart or purchases the item.
  • Purchase—The user did or didn’t purchase the trigger item or any item at most, at least, or between the number of times you enter, during the number of days you configure.
  • Get recommendations for—The user did or didn’t get recommendations for the trigger item or any item at most, at least, or between the number of times you enter, during the number of days you configure.
  • View—The user did or didn’t view the trigger item or any item at most, at least, or between the number of times you enter, during the number of seconds you configure.
