All types of Interaction Studio messages are compatible with mobile devices, with the exception of callout messages. Pop-ups, info bars, and inline messages should behave as expected. You can change the viewport size and spoof the device type from within the Visual Editor. Refer to Style Interaction Studio Messages for more information.

Adjust Visibility Rules for Mobile Messages

By default, messages are set to show on "Computer" and "Tablet" at the Message Level settings. If your entire campaign will consist of mobile messages, it is best practice to delete the message level rules and add an overarching Device Type > Mobile rule in the Campaign wide settings. 

For messages Within Page Structure, it's important to set divs to 100% width (and the subsequent divs within these containers) so they are responsive to the device. You can do this by clicking to select the div > clicking the CSS dropdown menu > add width: 100%;

Edit Mobile Messages

  1. To experiment with style changes, right click the message and select Inspect Element. 
  2. Copy the styles circled in the image below and paste them into the Interaction Studio CSS dropdown.
