New Name: Marketing Cloud Personalization

Interaction Studio (formerly Evergage) is now known as Marketing Cloud Personalization. The new name reflects our mission and vision for innovation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. We wish we could snap our fingers to update the name everywhere, but you can expect to see the previous name in various places until we replace it.

Depending on your email marketing solution, you may only need the URL of the Interaction Studio Open-Time Email Campaign. You'll still follow the instructions in Create an Open-Time Email Campaign to craft your open-time email message, but you won't need to copy all of the HTML Interaction Studio generates.

This Article Explains

This article details how and where to find the email campaign URL you can copy into your email marketing system. This article assumes you have created or cloned a campaign and have fully tested it, as outlined in the Create an Open-Time Email Campaign article.

Sections in this Article

Access the Campaign Edit Screen

You can skip this section if you already have your campaign open.

  1. Log into Interaction Studio
  2. If needed, select the dataset that contains the campaign you need (you may only have one dataset for your company) by clicking the dataset dropdown at the top left
  3. In the Channels & Campaigns section of the left navigation, select Email > Open Time Campaigns
  4. Locate the email campaign you need the link for:
    1. Select the campaign folder or narrow results by clicking Search and selecting and entering the Name, Folder, State, Last Modified By, or Segment Target
    2. Select the campaign
    3. Click EDIT

Capture the URL

Once you show the HTML for your message, you will need to find the link for each content block in the message

  1. Click SIMULATE
  2. Click Show HTML
  3. Click to resize the HTML code block
  4. Locate the <a> and <img> tags for each content block in the message
  5. Copy the URL from within each tag and replace:
    1. The number in the middle section of the URL (i.e. /1/) with the product number in the email (in the example below, this is indicated by REPLACE THIS NUMBER)
    2. The value after ?userId= with the unique ID of the recipient (in the example below, this is indicated by REPLACE THESE CHARACTERS)

The string after ?userId=is used for simulation purposes only and should not be copied into an email template in your EMS.

  6. To see sample HTML and the URLs that should be copied from it, refer to Capture an OTE Campaign URL in Interaction Studio developer documentation.
