New Name: Marketing Cloud Personalization

Interaction Studio (formerly Evergage) is now known as Marketing Cloud Personalization. The new name reflects our mission and vision for innovation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. We wish we could snap our fingers to update the name everywhere, but you can expect to see the previous name in various places until we replace it.

Shoppers have lots of different options online, and savvy shoppers are likely to research and shop around before making a purchase. Interaction Studio helps you target these comparison shoppers to help boost your conversion rates and reduce your bounce rates.

Comparison Shopping Overview

Action Definition: Comparison shopping is the name given to the action of a user highlighting the name of a product and copying it to their clipboard. This action is serves as a proxy to identify customers that might be copying the product name to then go search for a better deal on that product across the web.

Action Value: By recognizing this behavior as an action that can be tracked in Interaction Studio, we allow clients either to build action based segments for campaign targeting and analysis or trigger real-time experiences to encourage customers to shop direct. These triggered experiences could come in the form of a call-out message extolling the benefits of purchasing direct, a pop-up offering a special offer, or any other type of campaign that might prevent the customer from searching elsewhere for the product.

Enabling Comparison Shopping: If you are interested in executing comparison shopping use cases, have your web developer reference our developer documentation that outlines how to add this functionality to your sitemap.
