People who visit travel websites frequently abandon bookings before completing a transaction. To encourage a shopper to complete a purchase, present him or her with a special offer message if they indicate they’re about to leave your website.
Build segment to include only individuals who visited your website at least once in the past 30 days and looked into booking a family vacation. Book_for_family is a trackable field that can be added to the relevant page location.
The measure of success would be the number times someone clicked the abandonment message and ultimately completed a transaction. It is always best to have a control group who does not see the abandonment message so you can determine the lift over control for the message.
