New Name: Marketing Cloud Personalization
Interaction Studio (formerly Evergage) is now known as Marketing Cloud Personalization. The new name reflects our mission and vision for innovation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. We wish we could snap our fingers to update the name everywhere, but you can expect to see the previous name in various places until we replace it.
The Trigger Item Frequency Filter is a Catalog and Profile Objects setting that controls how often a trigger item appears during a campaign. In a triggered campaign, you can override the frequency you set in Catalog and Profile Objects.
To edit catalog settings:
A role with Catalog > Create/Edit permissions
Set the Trigger Item Frequency Filter
- From the main navigation, select Settings > Catalog and Profile Objects. The Settings page displays the options for your catalog.
- Select Trigger Item Frequency Filter and enter the time and day parameters.
- Save your work.
A customer shows interest in an out-of-stock product on your site. When the item is back in stock, their viewing behavior triggers a campaign that puts them on a Journey Builder journey. Two days later, the same product is out-of-stock again. Some time later it’s back in stock again. You use the Trigger Item Frequency Filter to prevent users from seeing multiple back-in-stock emails about the same product.
You create two triggered campaigns: price reduction and back-in-stock. You use the Trigger Item Frequency Filter to limit the number of campaigns that are triggered by the same item during the time frame you configure.
