New Name: Marketing Cloud Personalization

Interaction Studio (formerly Evergage) is now known as Marketing Cloud Personalization. The new name reflects our mission and vision for innovation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. We wish we could snap our fingers to update the name everywhere, but you can expect to see the previous name in various places until we replace it.

Interaction Studio's machine learning-powered "recipes" and the Einstein Decisions can be used present unique product and content suggestions, promotions, and email content to individuals. Both leverage advanced machine learning algorithms, a deep understanding of each visitor's behavior, and a contextual understanding of your business.

Recipes are configurable algorithmic strategies, that can be used to boost content or product engagement/discovery on your site, mobile app, emails or onsite search. The predictive algorithms available in Interaction Studio can even dynamically adjust to temporary shifts in consumer behavior.

The Einstein Decisions algorithm evaluates both the likelihood of someone engaging with a particular offer as well as the business value of the offer to the company. For example, if your company has 15 different homepage hero images it could show someone, the model considers each image and all the data available about the person, and then delivers in real-time (<20 milliseconds) the most relevant experience with the highest potential value to the company.
