This page provides a high-level overview of the different types of reports available within the "Reports" view of the Evergage Platform.

Visits

Behavior

This report provides users with insight on new vs. returning visitors, engagement level, and anonymous vs. logged in visitors. The report includes the following views:

    • Visits: compares the number of new or returning visitors

    • Engagement: compares overall engagement of visitors

    • Logged In: shows how many visitors were anonymous vs. those that were logged in

Customers can define the date range and apply filters to narrow the results by campaign and other criteria.

Consolidated the New & Returning visits report with our Engagement report and anonymous vs. logged in report.  These reports are controlled with the time parameter drop-down selector.

Technology

This report provides users with insight on their visitor’s browser type, operating system, device type, and platform. The report includes the following views:

    • Browser: shows visitor traffic by browser type

    • Operating System: shows visitor traffic by operating system

    • Device Type: shows visitor traffic by device type (e.g., mobile, tablet, computer)

    • Platform: when applicable, compares visitor traffic via platform (e.g. web vs. mobile app)

Customers can define the date range and apply filters to narrow the results by campaign and other criteria.


Traffic Sources

The Traffic Sources report provides aggregate details on where your visitors are coming from. The report includes the name (source), the number of visits (from that source) and bounces. This screen was recently updated to include bounce rate and average visit duration.  A bounce is defined in Evergage as a visit with a single page view.


Day & Time

This report was recently refreshed to present information in an easier-to-digest format. Each “dot” on the screen represents an hour in a day enabling users to visually understand trends or traffic spikes. Mousing-over a specific “dot” reveals additional details about that particular time period. The report includes the following views:

    • Visit Count: number of total visitors

    • Visit Length: average visit length

    • Bounce: bounce rate

Customers can define the date range and apply filters to narrow the results by campaign and other criteria.


Geography

This report provides a quick snapshot of traffic broken out by country. The darker the color, the more visitors originated from that country. Mousing-over a specific country on the map reveals the traffic count for the chosen timeframe. The count totals are also noted in the table to the right of the map. Customers can define the date range.


Cohorts

The Cohorts report offers powerful tool for visualizing the way visitors flow from one action or status to another over an extended period of time. For more information, please reference our Cohort Reporting page. 

Activity

Modules

The Modules report allows customers to group actions and then see aggregate stats across a set of actions. Actions can be added to more than one module. Please contact your customer success representative for more information on setting up and using models.


Actions

The Actions report tracks all of the actions (e.g., clicks, form completion, pages and screen views etc.) taken by visitors on your site or in your app. Customers can define the date range, apply filters to narrow the results to by campaign and other criteria, and opt to only see “view” actions. Selecting an action from the list view will plot that data point on the graph so you can see a visual comparison of different actions. Customers can define the date range as well as filter by modules or by keyword.


Segment Compare

This report allows customers to compare the statistics of up to seven segments to one another. For example, you may want to compare first-time visitors from the U.S. with those that visited from Canada, or existing customers to those who recently attended a webinar.

To add a segment, simply select it from the drop-down to the right of the line graph. To remove a segment, select “X” when mousing-over its title in the table below the graph.

Comparison data is presented as a line graph as well as in a table – with “Averages” and “Totals” viewing options). Customers can define the date range for this report.


Paths

The Paths report enables users to select a visitor’s website entrance page (i.e., action) and then see the next action taken. From the dropdown list at the top of the report, select an entrance action to reveal a list of next actions taken (e.g., went to homepage). The report also identifies how many people left the site after taking a particular action. Users can define the date range for this report.


Funnels

The Funnels report lets users select a defined “funnel” and monitor the completion of a set of desired sequential visitor actions. Users can define the date range for this report. For more information on building/customizing funnels, please contact your customer success representative.

 

Event Stream

The Event Stream report provides a queue of all the events occurring within your Evergage dataset in real-time. Users can filter on UserID, Company and Event Type.   For more information, visit our Event Stream page. 

Goals

Goals Comparison

This report lists a Customer’s top goals (e.g., Global Goals) and whether those goals were completed based on the selected filter. For example, filtering on “Visit Status” will compare company goals completed by first time visitors vs. returning visitors. Customers can define the date range and apply filters to narrow the results by campaign and other criteria.

 

Achievements

This report provides an overview of goal completions and goal completion rates. Users can define the date range for this report.

Campaigns

Top Campaigns

This report allows users to review aggregate details about each of their campaigns, including unique visitors and number of impressions. Users can define the date range for this report, filter by keyword and add or remove columns (e.g.. clickthroughs and last modified).


Promoted Items

This report allows users to view top revenue generating promoted items for each campaign with promoted items.  There is a list of items and their attributed revenue. Users also have the option of drilling into specific experiences or seeing the overall campaign’s promoted items.
