New Name: Marketing Cloud Personalization

Interaction Studio (formerly Evergage) is now known as Marketing Cloud Personalization. The new name reflects our mission and vision for innovation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. We wish we could snap our fingers to update the name everywhere, but you can expect to see the previous name in various places until we replace it.

With Interaction Studio Mobile campaigns, you can build and deploy personalized experiences for your Android and iOS mobile apps using native app code including Java, Objective-C, and Swift. Mobile campaigns require that the Interaction Studio Mobile SDK be fully implemented. Refer to Interaction Studio Mobile Integrations in for information about implementing the Interaction Studio Mobile SDK.


Mobile-web campaigns can be developed using Web Campaigns and Templates. Most global templates are responsive by default and further information on making web campaigns responsive can be found in the developer documentation on TemplatesFor Evergage Classic customers, please refer to the article on how to Build Messages for Mobile Web Visitors.

Hybrid mobile apps are not completely native and are at least partially HTML-based. Depending on the details of the hybrid app architecture, you can develop campaigns for your hybrid app using one of the following approaches:

  • Interaction Studio Javascript, with campaigns developed using Web Campaigns and Templates
  • Interaction Studio Android/iOS SDK, with mobile campaigns developed as detailed in this section
